On recent trip to Tint Pros home of Tinting USA, Zaf pointed out the yuky tinting film that was changing colors on my Cadillac CTS and he recommended removal and offered to do it for me.

I was concerned how the tint colors were turning purple and it my my beautiful car look terrible, so I agreed to the removal.

It took him over 4 hours to give me the car back and he explained that the back window must be done correctly to avoid removing the defroster lines and causing a much more expensive repair to the luxury car.

The window tint film removal from the defroster is the hardest, because the lines of the defroster are painted on the surface of the glass (not inside the glass) this is done to keep the glass’ Tempered status and of course to have a defroster is critical.

Removing a tint in the defroster area must be done by forcing the film glue to let go completely without using any chemicals.

This is done by using the correct amount of heat (no you can’t use a heat gun or hair dryer here…
